3.What data we collect
Account data
We may collect account-related information such as your name, email address, company name, account credentials, authentication identifiers, and plan status.
Billing and transaction data
If you purchase a plan, we may collect billing contact information, subscription details, invoice metadata, transaction records, and payment-related metadata. Payment card details are typically processed by our payment provider and are not stored directly by us.
Usage and device data
We may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device information, log data, session information, generation activity, plan usage, approved image volume, selected settings, and platform interaction data.
Content data
We may process content you provide to the Service, including product images, apparel item inputs, prompts, styling instructions, reference images, brand assets, workflow settings, and generated outputs.
Support and communications data
If you contact us, request a demo, or send support messages, we may process your contact details and the content of those communications.
Cookies and analytics data
We may collect information through cookies and similar technologies, including site usage data, session information, analytics identifiers, advertising or attribution data, and performance metrics.
4.How we use personal data
We may use personal data to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- authenticate users and manage accounts;
- process subscriptions, billing, and payments;
- generate outputs and store workflows;
- provide support and respond to inquiries;
- secure the platform and prevent abuse or fraud;
- monitor service performance and improve product quality;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations;
- send service-related notices;
- send product or marketing communications where permitted by law.
5.Legal bases for processing
Where applicable, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract
We process data where necessary to provide the Service, manage accounts, process subscriptions, and deliver generation workflows and outputs.
Legitimate interests
We may process data where necessary for legitimate interests such as securing the platform, preventing abuse, improving performance, understanding product usage, evaluating service quality, and operating the business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Consent
Where required, we rely on consent for activities such as certain analytics, marketing communications, or optional cookies and similar technologies. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Legal obligation
We may process data where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance requirements.
6.How GenShot handles uploaded content and generated outputs
GenShot Studio processes uploaded content and prompts to provide the Service. This may include product images, apparel inputs, styling instructions, prompts, brand assets, workflow settings, and related materials.
Generated outputs may be stored so that you can access, manage, and export them through your account.
We may use third-party infrastructure, storage, or AI/image-generation providers where necessary to deliver the Service.
You should only upload content that you have the right to use.
As a general rule, GenShot Studio does not currently use customer content for model training. However, for trial or evaluation access, we reserve the right to use uploaded content, prompts, workflows, and generated outputs for manual review, evaluation, product improvement, model tuning, or training-related adjustments where permitted by the applicable terms. For customer accounts covered by a paid order form or enterprise agreement, customer content is not used for model training or model-adjustment purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the Service unless agreed otherwise in writing.
8.International data transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom where relevant.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms made available by our service providers or under applicable law.
9.Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
In general:
- account data is kept while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for operational, security, or legal reasons;
- uploaded content and generated outputs are generally retained while your account remains active, unless deleted earlier through product functionality or support processes;
- if an account is deleted, associated content may be removed from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to technical constraints and legal or security retention needs;
- billing and transaction records may be retained as long as required by applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations;
- analytics, log, and diagnostic data may be retained for a limited period reasonably necessary for performance, security, and product improvement purposes.
Because the Service is still evolving and deletion logic is limited at this stage, retention periods may be based on operational criteria rather than fixed deletion schedules in every case.
10.Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
These measures may include access controls, logging, service-level protections, and storage and security practices appropriate to the nature of the Service.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12.Your rights
Depending on where you are located and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- request portability of your data;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

13.Children
GenShot Studio is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 through the Service.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can review and address the issue.
14.Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
